A life-long Naturalist, I am passionate about nature, especially the Mississippi River.  I am well known for my nature photography and have published a book entitled “Pursuing Awe” that features many of my photos and writings. It is available at local bookstores and on Amazon. For over two decades, Nancy and I have lived in the house that we built in the woods overlooking Lake Pepin, where we are surrounded by nature every day.

Professionally, I have been providing Construction, Development, Property Management, and Real Estate Services for over four decades!  I have developed and syndicated several large commercial projects.  My repertoire includes Residential Homes, Condo Projects, Hotels, Schools, Banks, Hospitals, Industrial Plants and many other types of Real Estate.  I am an award-winning marketer and my annual Real Estate sales volume is consistently in the top 10 percent of all Realtors serving the SE Minnesota and western Wisconsin Region.

I love spending time on the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin. In 2005 I purchased and renovated a 125 passenger paddlewheel boat, brought her home to Lake City and renamed her; Pearl of the Lake.  Providing excursions on Lake Pepin gave me the opportunity to share our beautiful surroundings with people from throughout the World.  After 17 years, I sold her and she moved to Florida in 2023.
